Food Security, Tree Sales and COVID-19

During these unprecedented times, we hope you and your family are safe and well.

As COVID-19 continues to be a concern throughout our country, many of us have paused to reevaluate our shopping, food safety and availability – especially what we grow and consume at home.

To help address some of these concerns – and help you on your journey to food security – we are now offering fruit trees for online purchase. In addition, we are currently taking pre-orders for a 10-week produce subscription box that starts April 13. At the current time, we will only offer online purchases which are for pickup by appointment only in order to protect our customers and staff.

The majority of pickup times will be on Monday through Friday after 3 p.m. and Saturday morning. This will give room for our construction teams to complete their awesome work on the gardens and neighboring facilities.

Trees are not kept on site, so in-person shopping is not possible at this time. As a result, we ask customers to order online and schedule a pickup time up in advance. Tree pickup for online purchases will be in a drive-through format, and other vehicles will be asked to leave. These procedures will keep onsite time minimal, reduce confusion and protect all of us. By doing this, we hope to provide as many trees as possible so our customers can get the fruit trees they need for their gardens at this time.

We can also take orders via phone. If you know what you would like to order, please give us a call at (480) 704-4100, extension 5.

Finally, our Gardens have been roped off and are closed to the public during construction until further notice. We continue to monitor the situation and will take all precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers, our staff, and our community.

We value you and your support as a future patron and friend of the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens. Please stay healthy and safe. We are excited for the opportunity to serve and inspire you!
