How to Apply to Be a Vendor

Vendor Selection Philosophy

Our goal is to thoughtfully curate vendors whose products, practices, and values align with the mission and spirit of the Pecan Lake Farmers Market. Priority is given to growers, producers, and makers whose work supports our commitment to local food systems, sustainability, and community connection.

We welcome vendors who

  • Grow or produce Arizona-based goods using regenerative, sustainable, or natural practices
  • Offer thoughtfully sourced, natural, and regionally grown ingredients in prepared foods
  • Create locally made artisan or craft items, or carefully curated products that reflect the culture, creativity, and flavors of Arizona
  • Grow, raise, or make the products they sell (service-based vendors are considered on a case-by-case basis to see if their offerings complement the market experience)
  • Bring unique products or perspectives that enhance the variety and appeal of the market

Application Process

  1. Review Our Market Goals
  2. Ensure your products and practices align with our mission of cultivating goodness, supporting the local community, and creating an exceptional market experience.
  3. Complete the Vendor Application
  4. Provide detailed information about your products, production methods, and any certifications or licenses.
  5. Submit Your Application
  6. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Preference is given to vendors who meet our criteria and add variety to the market.
  7. Wait for Approval

Although we wish we could speak with each prospective vendor personally, the number of applications we receive along with our ongoing market operations makes this challenging. Vendors whose products are distinctive, complement the existing market offerings, and for whom space is available will be contacted regarding next steps.
