Why SoloUp

Adulthood should open doors, not close them.

Too many young adults lose access to structured support after school and struggle to find a clear path toward work, independence, and community. SoloUp bridges that gap with practical experiences designed around each participant’s strengths.

🧭

Personal Direction

Each participant develops an individualized pathway based on interests, abilities, support needs, and long-term goals.

🛠️

Practical Skills

Participants build confidence through real responsibilities, workplace routines, communication, problem-solving, and daily living skills.

🌿

Meaningful Belonging

Learning happens in supportive community settings where participants are known, valued, needed, and encouraged to contribute.

How It Works

A supported pathway toward greater independence.

SoloUp combines coaching, hands-on learning, community partnership, and job development into one practical progression.

Phase 1

Explore

Identify strengths, interests, motivations, support needs, and possible career directions.

Phase 2

Prepare

Develop work habits, communication, teamwork, transportation, time management, and self-advocacy.

Phase 3

Practice

Apply skills through supervised projects, internships, garden-based work, hospitality, events, and community service.

Phase 4

Place & Support

Connect participants with employers and continue coaching to help both employee and workplace succeed.

The Impact

Success is more than getting a job.

It is waking up with purpose, contributing something meaningful, developing trusted relationships, and knowing there is a place where your strengths matter.

“SoloUp is designed to help each participant move from dependence toward confidence, contribution, and a life of greater possibility.”
