Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can we bring pets?
A: Since we are an all-edible botanical garden, a lot of what we grow is harvested and then sold, donated, or used for other events around the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens, such as our monthly Farm to Fork dinners. This means that we have to abide by health and food code, so unfortunately, we cannot allow animals on property. The only exception to this is if your pet is a certified service animal or if your pet is small enough for you to carry during the duration of your visit to the Garden.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: Currently, we are open Saturdays from 9am-5pm.
Q: I want to take photos, how do I schedule an appointment?
A: All photo sessions are to take place during our hours of operation. Please fill out the request form on our Photography page and a staff member will be in contact with you soon. All photo sessions need to be approved and scheduled in advance, no walk-up sessions are permitted at this time.
Q: Do I need a reservation to visit the QC Gardens?
A: No reservation required! Tickets can be purchased online or onsite when you arrive. We recommend you read all about the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens before your visit so you know a little more about us before you visit.
Q: What is the purpose of the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens?
A: We are here to help beautify and replenish the Earth with the goal to inspire and educate our community about elegant edible plants, showing the future of sustainable food productions through landscaping.
Q: What is that building with the wheel?
A: Our gristmill features the only fully-operational industrial-age water mill in the American Southwest. This mill has the capability to mill grain and crack and shell pecans from the large Pecan groves adjacent to the property.
Q: Can we rent out the space in the garden for a special event?
A: Yes! The Queen Creek Botanical Gardens also act as an events venue. If you are looking to hold an event that is not a wedding, please fill out this form. If you are looking for wedding venue information, please visit the Wedding Venue with this form.
Q: How much is admission to visit the QC Gardens?
A: Children between the ages of 3-15 are $5 (3 and under are free) and General Addmision is $10. Seniors (60+) are $7. All admissions, memberships, and donations go directly back into the Queen Creek Botanical Gardens to help us continue to grow and cultivate the Botanical Gardens.
Q: Can I volunteer?
A: Yes of course! We are always looking for volunteers to help us out in our gardens! Volunteers help with, planting, mulching, weeding, transplanting, harvesting, and more! Volunteers can apply here. Please note that we prefer volunteers above the age of 12, with an adult accompanying them up to the age of 16.
